ORDER NO. 1-635-88 DATE: 2/4/06
1. Street legal off-highway motor vehicles are allowed on the
waveslope north of Kellogg Road, from sunrise to sunset. The speed limit on the waveslope is 15 mph.
2. Permitted Commercial Fisherman are allowed on the waveslope
north and south of Kellogg Road.
3. The waveslope is defined as the area that has been wet by
the wave action of the previous high tide and does not include any vegetated areas.
4. Department of Perks and Recreational personnel, vehicles
and equipment required to patrol and respond to emergencies are exempt from this order.
5. Additional exceptions to this Order may only be granted in writing by the
District
Superintendent, North Coast Redwoods District, P.O. Box 2006, Eureka, CA 95502
6. Nothing heroin shall affect any existing private contract or property rights-
7. Nothing herein shall be construed in derogation of other provisions of
law.
