Recognition
And
Achievements

As an "action grange", our grange is a young one. Nonetheless, our short history is well grounded in a long tradition of citizen activism in community locale, area culture, local government and family neighborhood values.

All this is possible because we are hundreds of voluntary treads woven together into the community life around us. While we form a strong and intricate part of the of this social, environmental and spiritual fabric around us; we ask no personal recognition, ostentatious honor or material advantage in our community.

This area is a simple recognition to all the hundreds of grangers, who have freely given tens of thousands of voluntary hours of their free time toward the betterment of their fellow humane beings and the community in which we all live.

With this Electronic Newsletter (E-News) we are kicking off yet another aspect of Your--LAKE EARL GRANGE. As you may know our newly renovated Hall has been in use now for approximately  two years. With the re-paved parking lot it's a lot easier for anyone using a wheelchair, a walker or for the elderly, and makes it nicer for the rest of us. Up until a few weeks ago the only thing left in the remodeling department was the back fence, landscaping and a BBQ. Now that the fence is up and we have a true backyard for members and guests, Ron Plachety has set his sights on the landscaping and is looking for help from our terrific Grange Youth. As to the BBQ department - we've been doing just fine with portable ones. However, I'm sure Ron already has that end of "The Grange Outdoors" pretty well figured out!

Once again, our appreciation and thanks to Ron Plachety

for his efforts in spearheading the remodeling inside and out.

We hope to see all of you in the months ahead. Remember that our Grange meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 PM. If you have any questions please contact Helen at 464-4008

ART CRAFT & GIFT

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

Grangers keep your eyes peeled for our next hot buy bazaar at our Grange Hall in Fort Dick.

The last one, our second, was in November of last year and was truly successful. That one was put together by our own incredible troika; Susan Epperson, Paul Cloer and Jenny McNamara, delivering  the event on time and putting it over the top,  financial wise.

While in the kitchen Ron Plechaty and Randy Vance cooked up some great smells with real taste.

Soooooo, if you missed it last year, remember it's annual and we grangers have a way of out doing ourselves on these kind of events. So watch for it!
